Weeks 3 and 4
Wow! We are at Week 3 already! You should be noticing some monumental shifts in your body. Maybe you’ve already lost some weight, and maybe you’ve uncovered some food allergies.
I hope that you’ve been writing in your Food Diary daily and reflecting on how each food is making you feel.
One of the biggest obstacles to gut health is undiscovered food allergies; therefore, it’s critically important you work to uncover which foods work and which foods don’t work for your unique body.
This week, you’ll be consulting guide Weeks 3 and 4. This week’s topic is understanding your body. We’ll be chatting about food combining basics, alkalinity and healthy poop.
By the end of weeks 3 and 4, you will have done the following:
•Practiced basic food combining principles
•Worked to cut caffeine from your diet
•Made progress with curbing your sugar addiction
•Experimented with various food groups
•Integrated alkaline-rich foods into your diet and tested your PH
•Examined and tracked your stools based on what you learned in the Bristol Poop Chart
Make sure you are drinking enough water. If you have a reaction to a food, then remove that food for 7 days and then reintroduce the food.
I have found my allergies lessened as my gut health improved. Be patient with the process.
